FIPS 197 certification looks at the hardware encryption algorithms that does not require any driver or software installation on host PC to protect sensitive data from unauthorized tampering.Easy setup Encryption does not always come with complicated setup steps. Once inserting the JetFlash Vault 100 for the first time, you will be advised to set a strong password and a hint to protect your private, sensitive, personal, or confidential data. For enhanced security, you are given maximum 10 incorrect login attempts to unlock your JetFlash Vault 100. If you fail to input the correct password within the limit, you will be asked to format your JetFlash Vault 100. Be sure to remember your password. If you forgot the combination, you can only format your JetFlash Vault 100 to factory settings with all the data being erased.
