These IEEE 802.11 a/b/g access points are particularly made for the arduous RF conditions such as warehouses, factories, and huge retail establishments which require the antenna dependability associated with connectorized antennas, a durable metal enclosure, and a wide operating temperature range. Furthermore, the AIR-LAP1242AG-A-K9, akin to the other products in Aironet series, also provides inline power and local power coupled with the support for IEEE 802.3af power over Ethernet or PoE. It operates on both AC and DC current, ranging from 110 to 240 V for AC and 36 V to 57 V DC.
